Kelly M. Miller

Kelly Miller is a game developer seeking practical work experience.

He graduated from George Mason University with a BFA in Computer Game Design. He has participated in numerous independent game projects as an programmer, UI designer, artist, and project manager.

Starting off in his early teenager years, he was creating mods for games long before he even finished playing the base game. His interest in creating Warcraft III custom games would soon spark the life-long passion of making games. It didn't stop there, with soon updating to StarCraft II's more advanced world editor it was clear that there was no limit to what creative ideas could overcome the challenges ahead.

After entering George Mason University he worked on several games with Unity3D. The very first being Onward, a game revolved around helping probationers by translating real-life goals into in-game achievements and rewards. For the first time being introduced to programming, he had to learn UnityScript within a week to begin the game's 2 month development schedule.

He has also simultaneously worked on other personal projects using Unity3D, experimenting with various mechanics of: local file saving and loading, file encryption and decryption, character feature customization, MMO armor equipping, dialogue trees, inventory systems, in-game editors, procedural generation, AI path finding, advanced AI logic and decision making, and multiplayer networking.
